Walk and Train

Is your dog bored at home alone while you're at work?
Does your dog need training but you don't have the time or skill to do it?
Does your dog need more exercise?

I can come to your home and take your dog for a walk, and combine the walk with training your dog. I can teach your dog skills such as:

Walk nicely on lead without pulling
Come when called
Greet people by sitting not jumping
Wait/stay
Sit
Lie down/drop
Go to bed
Emergency stop
Fun and impressive tricks
Remain calm in the presence of other dogs, people, bikes, vehicles, etc.
Work on problem behaviours.

All walk and train sessions are one hour.

I will walk only your dog; no other dogs at the same time. Your dog will have my full attention.

Your dog will be on lead at all times! I use a 2 meter lead for walking and an 11 meter lead at certain times to give your dog more freedom to explore and when we work on skills such as come and wait. I'll use a harness for walking, no choker chains or other constricting collars.

You will need to be home for the first session so we can meet and agree on a training plan, then you don't need to be home for the other sessions.

Cost

$100 for the first lesson and $75 for any additional lessons. All lessons are one hour.

Four Lesson Package:
Four lessons for $300. Savings of $25. All four lessons must be paid for at the start.

Suitability

Walk and Train is suitable for manners and obedience training and for dogs that enjoy going for a walk.

It is not suitable for dogs with certain serious behavioural issues such as separation anxiety where I need to work more closely with you and your dog together. For these issues Private Lessons are recommended. Contact me to discuss if you're not sure.
